Job summary

Superior Plus Propane in Rindge, NH is looking for an experienced Service Technician to join our team. You will perform propane service and tank installation at customer locations and respond to emergencies as needed.

The role requires a CDL (A or B) or the willingness to obtain within the first year, Hazmat/Tanker endorsement preferred, and 2–3 years of propane/oil service experience; NH Gas Fitters License strongly preferred. We are an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CDL Class A or B or willingness to obtain within first year.
• Hazmat/Tanker endorsement preferred.
• 2–3 years propane/oil service experience; HVAC advantageous.
• NH Gas Fitters License strongly preferred.
• Legal authorization to work in the US; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Propane service and tank installation at customer locations.
• Identify and fix leaks from tank to equipment connections.
• Respond to customer emergencies as needed.
• Rotate on-call status during evenings and weekends as needed.
• Perform tank maintenance and prepare spare tanks for service.
• Complete tank inspections and repairs at customer sites.
• Communicate proactively with District Manager, Service Coordinator, Sales reps, drivers, and customers.

What You'll Do:

• Propane service and tank installation.
• Able to identify and correct any leaks from the tank to equipment connection.
• Respond to customer emergencies as needed
• Rotate "on call" status during evenings and weekends as needed
• Perform tank maintenance spare tanks located in the plants in preparation for putting them in service.
• Complete tank inspections and repairs at customer locations.
• Consistently communicate proactively with the District Manager, Service Coordinator, Sales reps, drivers, and customers as necessary

What you bring:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
• CDL Class A or B or willingness to obtain within first year of employment in the position
• Hazmat/ Tanker endorsement preferred
• 2-3 years propane/oil service preferred; HVAC
• NH Gas Fitters License strongly preferred
