Job summary

Stephenson Equipment, Inc. seeks a Service Technician to diagnose and repair heavy equipment in our Pittston, PA shop. You will keep woodchippers, asphalt pavers, excavators and more running safely through preventive maintenance, part replacement and testing.

What You'll Do

As a Service Technician in our Construction Equipment shop in Pittston, PA, you'll play a critical role in keeping our customers' equipment operating safely and reliably. You'll diagnose, repair, maintain, and service a diverse fleet of specialized equipment, including woodchippers, asphalt pavers, trailers, excavators, grinders, dumpers and more all while working in a collaborative, safety-focused environment. In This Role, You Will

Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment and industrial machinery.

Replace worn or damaged parts and perform routine preventive maintenance.

Disassemble, repair, and reassemble mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Requirements

Required

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

Valid driver's license.

Prior experience working on heavy equipment.

Ability to safely perform equipment repairs using hand and power tools.

Ability to read, write, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
