Roberts Oxygen Company is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our Orlando, FL headquarters. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing compressed gas container and piping systems at customer sites, requiring travel and on-site work.

The ideal candidate has experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, hydraulic systems, or cryogenic equipment, strong customer service, and the ability to coordinate with Operations and Sales.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, hydraulic systems, or cryogenic equipment installation and repairs is preferred.
• CDL Class B is preferred; ability to obtain a CDL Class B, with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements, within six months of hire date is required
• Excellent driving record and ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

Roberts Oxygen, a trusted name in industrial, medical, and specialty gases and equipment, is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our headquarters in Orlando, FL.

Requirements

What makes you stand out?

The ideal Field Service Technician, Driver has experience providing timely and accurate installation, maintenance, and repairs of compressed gas container and piping systems. You are comfortable travelling to the customer's location and working on-site. You have a history of providing excellent customer service by collaborating diligently and expeditiously with Operations, Sales, Distribution, and customers daily.

Responsibilities and requirements will include but are not limited to:

• Two years' experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, hydraulic systems, or cryogenic equipment installation and repairs is preferred
• Experience with Chart Trifecta, Data Online telemetry, or Acme pressure building systems is preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent attention to system requirements detail preferred
• CDL Class B is preferred; ability to obtain a CDL Class B, with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements, within six months of hire date is required
• Ability to work independently and give meticulous attention to detail of situations and documentation
• Ability to use technology such as a computer, handheld proof of service devices, mobile phones, mapping software or other technologies required
• Ability to lift, push and pull 100lbs., ability to move larger weights on appropriately designed handcarts
• Ability to twist and bend frequently
• Ability to work safely on ladders, man-lifts and other similar raised elevation equipment, as well as safe operation of hand and power tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High School education or equivalent required
• Excellent driving record, and if selected, ability to pass pre-employment screenings
