Job summary

Homer Skelton Ford in Olive Branch is seeking General Service Technicians with immediate openings. Experience is welcomed, but training is available for the right person.

This family-owned dealership has decades in the Mid South and offers a pathway to join our main shop team of technicians. You will diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems, test components, and work with the Service Advisor to inform customers about additional services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience as an auto technician.
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Fast, eager learner and team player.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Clean driving record & valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed
• Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

We are a family owned dealership for many decades in the Mid South. This is a position for someone who wants to advance their knowledge and begin a career path to become a certified technician.
