Job summary

Homer Skelton Ford in Olive Branch is seeking General Service Technicians. Training is provided for the right candidate, with a clear path to join our main shop team of technicians.

We offer a family-owned environment with opportunities to advance knowledge and a long-standing Mid South presence. Experience is welcomed, but not required, as training is available to grow into full technician responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience as an auto technician
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
• Fast, eager learner and team player
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Test drive vehicles and components using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so customers can be informed if any additional service is needed
• Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Homer Skelton Ford in Olive Branch is has immediate openings for General Service Technicians! While experience is always welcomed, training is available for the right person. We are a family owned dealership for many decades in the Mid South. This is a position for someone who wants to advance their knowledge and begin a career path to become a certified technician. We will place a path ahead of you that will lead to joining our main shop team of technicians.
