Job summary

AVI Foodsystems in Norcross, GA is seeking an energetic Service Technician to install, service and repair vending and merchandising equipment at client locations within a designated area. This full-time role includes building client relationships and delivering reliable, safe equipment operation.

You will perform routine preventative maintenance, order parts as needed, and participate in training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing automated vending and merchandising equipment or small appliances preferred.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication with team members and customers.

Responsibilities

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team Member to fill the role of Service Technician.

This is a full-time position in Norcross, GA. A company car is provided.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Install new equipment at client locations within a designated area
• Educate the client on how to effectively use new equipment
• Execute minor vending equipment repairs
• Remove outdated and unused equipment
• Test vending equipment to ensure proper function
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on vending and merchandising equipment
• Build and maintain client and customer relationships
• Order parts needed to complete repairs

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Previous experience in the repair of automated vending and merchandising equipment or small appliances preferred
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
• Technical ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and make appropriate repairs
• Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with team members and customers
• Valid Driver's License (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment when needed
