Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Service Technician in Garner, NC to install, service, and maintain vending and merchandising equipment at client locations. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7am–3:30pm with on-call weekends and evenings, offering growth within a family-oriented team.

You will diagnose issues, perform minor repairs, educate clients, and build strong relationships while contributing to reliable service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Previous experience in the repair of automated vending and merchandising equipment or small appliances preferred
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
• Technical ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and make appropriate repairs
• Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with team members and customers
• Valid Driver's License (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment when needed
