Job summary

AVI Foodsystems, Inc. is seeking an energetic Service Technician to install and service vending and merchandising equipment at client sites in the Mansfield, OH area. This full-time role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits and training.

You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, maintain relationships with clients, and ensure safe operation. A valid driver's license and ability to lift heavy equipment are required; CDL not needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Experience repairing automated vending and merchandising equipment or small appliances preferred.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Technical ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and make appropriate repairs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with team members and customers.
• Valid Driver's License (CDL not required) and a good driving record.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment when needed.

Responsibilities

• Install new equipment at client locations within a designated area.
• Educate the client on how to effectively use new equipment.
• Execute minor vending equipment repairs.
• Remove outdated and unused equipment.
• Test vending equipment to ensure proper function.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on vending and merchandising equipment.
• Build and maintain client and customer relationships.
• Order parts needed to complete repairs.

HEADQUARTERS SERVICE CENTER

Our Headquarters Service Center serves as the main support for all AVI operations throughout the United States. Departments include accounting, administration, finance, human resources, marketing, procurement, risk management, training and development, wellness and much more.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team Member to fill the role of Service Technician. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday.
