All Weather Seal of West Michigan Inc. is hiring a Service Technician to diagnose and fix warranty and service issues at customers’ homes.

You will arrive prepared, complete repairs correctly the first time, and communicate clearly with homeowners while upholding our high standards. The role involves completing warranty calls safely, reviewing requests before arriving, loading parts, and performing high-quality repairs on windows and doors.

Position Summary

The Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing and resolving warranty and service issues in customers' homes. Success in this role means arriving prepared, completing repairs correctly the first time whenever possible, communicating clearly with homeowners, and maintaining the high standards that All Weather Seal is known for.

What You'll Do

• Complete assigned warranty and service calls safely, efficiently, and within expected service times.
• Review service requests, photos, and customer information before arriving to accurately diagnose the issue.
• Verify all necessary parts and materials are loaded before leaving for each appointment.
• Perform high-quality repairs on windows, doors, and related products.
• Leave each jobsite clean and ensure every customer has a positive service experience.
• Document every service call with before-and-after photos, parts used, repair details, root cause, and completion status.
• Identify recurring product defects or installation-related issues and communicate findings to production leadership.
• Assist with remote troubleshooting by phone or video when assigned to help resolve issues without an onsite visit.
• Return unused and warranty parts to the warehouse with proper documentation.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, equipment, and truck inventory.
• Communicate arrival times, repair status, and completed work clearly with homeowners.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in residential construction, remodeling, window and door installation, finish carpentry, or service repair preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of quality.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work safely on ladders and in varying weather conditions.

Preferred Experience

• Window and door installation or service.
• Finish carpentry.
• Warranty or residential service work.
• Home improvement or remodeling.
• Basic construction and repair techniques.
