Buck Lumber & Building Supply Inc. is seeking a motivated Service Technician to perform warranty repairs and service work on windows and doors.

You will diagnose issues, repair components, and maintain service records while delivering professional customer service at job sites. This full-time role requires safety-conscious hands-on work, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Experience with windows, doors, or general carpentry is preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Valid driver''s license with clean record.
• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather.

Requirements

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, typically 40-50 hours per week. Occasional overtime or Saturday work may be required based on business needs.

This role involves working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold. Daily use of company vehicles, hand tools, power tools, and other equipment is required.

To be successful in this role, candidates should:

• Have a valid driver\'s license with a clean driving record.
• Be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Read and understand written instructions, forms, and work orders.
• Perform basic math and accurately complete service documentation.
• Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment.
• Regularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, and reach overhead.
• Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
• Demonstrate good manual dexterity, vision, and depth perception while working safely in a physically demanding environment.
