Job Description: Service Technician (U.S. Market)

We seek a technically skilled individual with a focus on service technician responsibilities, who can also support sales as the business expands. The ideal candidate is hands-on, self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and culturally aware of working in a European company environment.

Initially, this role is service-oriented; however, successful performance may lead to broader responsibilities in business development and leadership, including supporting the establishment of a U.S. subsidiary.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, commissioning, and support of furnace and dosing systems at customer foundries.
• Providing technical support during project planning and execution.
• Supporting urgent service needs and production ramp-ups for major U.S. OEM clients.
• Serving as the primary technical and service contact for North American customers.
• Performing regular maintenance, service, and troubleshooting.
• Supporting informal sales efforts through client relationship management and opportunity identification.
• Contributing to the groundwork for establishing a U.S. subsidiary, including future hiring (with a focus on sales).

Qualifications

• Education & Certification: Degree in Electrical Engineering (licensed to operate in the U.S.); additional degrees or experience in Mechanical and Pneumatic Engineering are preferred.
• Technical Skills: Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems; basic robot programming (Fanuc, ABB); basic PLC programming (Siemens).
• Professional Skills: Strong customer service, client-facing skills, ability to work independently, report remotely, and travel extensively (~50–70%).
• Cultural Fit: Awareness of European work culture, entrepreneurial mindset, adaptability, and willingness to learn industry-specific skills if needed.
