Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain rotary screw and reciprocating air compressors and related components. You will use diagnostic tools and follow manuals to ensure equipment operates to customer specifications.
This full-time, hourly role requires physical work, travel within the service area, and on-call availability after an initial period. You will collaborate with the Service Coordinator, assist apprentices, and contribute to
Location: Toledo, OH; Buffalo, NY; Elmhurst, IL; Livonia, MI; Indianapolis, IN; Hamilton, OH; Erie, PA; Ithaca, NY; & surrounding areas. The role is typically not eligible for relocation. Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. This is a full‑time, hourly position.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM.

The Field Service Technician in our Compression Systems and Services Division serves customers by installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all makes of rotary screw and reciprocating and/or Centac and ECC air compressors, along with additional compressed air system components. You will use precision measuring tools for diagnostic troubleshooting of compressed air equipment and be knowledgeable of all operations and parts manuals associated with all equipment.
Starting pay will range between $25.00 – $35.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. This is a full‑time, hourly position.
