Job summary

JETT Gaming is seeking a Service Technician to troubleshoot, maintain, install, and repair slot machines and related gaming equipment across the Las Vegas area.

Responsibilities include on-site service calls, system maintenance, and customer support while complying with regulations. A Nevada driver’s license and ability to obtain gaming registrations are required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant technical experience; cash-handling experience is a plus.
  • Valid Nevada Driver's License with a clean DMV record.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required Gaming Registration.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Install, remove, convert, troubleshoot, and repair slot machines and related equipment.
  • Set up and service CVTs, safes, PT systems, progressive systems, ATMs, and other gaming equipment.
  • Install and maintain Cat5e, Cat6a, and fiber-optic cabling.
  • Document installations, repairs, and service activities accurately.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers and team members.
  • Travel on assigned slot route and operate company vehicle safely.

Position Summary

The Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, installing, and repairing slot machines and related gaming equipment throughout JETT Gaming's assigned slot route. This position performs routine inspections, service calls, equipment installations and removals, system maintenance, and customer support while ensuring all work is completed accurately, safely, and in accordance with applicable regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Install, remove, convert, troubleshoot, and repair slot machines and related gaming equipment.
  • Set up, maintain, and service CVTs, safes, PT systems, progressive systems, ATMs, and other gaming-related equipment.
  • Install, terminate, test, and maintain Cat5e, Cat6a, and fiber‑optic cabling.
  • Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and service calls as assigned.
  • Accurately document installations, repairs, conversions, service activities, and cash transactions, including hand pay and jackpots.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting assistance, and guidance to customers and team members.
  • Educate customers and clients on JETT Gaming equipment, systems, and proper operating procedures.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas and ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained.
  • Operate a company vehicle safely while servicing an assigned slot route.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer service requests and technical issues.
  • Work independently while also collaborating effectively with team members.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, safety requirements, and applicable gaming regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant technical experience preferred; cash-handling experience is a plus.
  • Valid Nevada Driver's License with a clean DMV record.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required Gaming Registration through the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and work in confined spaces as required.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple service requests and priorities.

Travel Requirements

Regular travel throughout the assigned slot route is required. A valid Nevada Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.

Language Skills

Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required. The ability to read and interpret technical documents, equipment manuals, instructions, and company policies, as well as communicate effectively with customers and team members, is essential.

Reasoning and Problem‑Solving Abilities

The Service Technician must possess strong logical and analytical reasoning skills. The ability to follow written and verbal instructions, troubleshoot technical problems, identify potential issues, and determine appropriate solutions is essential.

Licenses, Certifications, and Regulatory Requirements

Applicants must be able to qualify for and maintain all licenses, registrations, certifications, and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations, including applicable Nevada gaming requirements.

Physical Demands

The position requires regular standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and manual dexterity. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally and work in a variety of conditions, including confined spaces and areas requiring extended periods of standing or physical activity.

Work Environment

The work environment is generally moderate in noise level. This position may occasionally require working in environments where exposure to unrestricted secondhand tobacco smoke may occur. The Service Technician may also work in varied environmental conditions while traveling between customer locations and assigned service sites.
