Job summary

Mercedes-Benz of Des Moines is hiring certified automotive technicians. You will diagnose issues, perform brakes, suspension, and steering repairs, and conduct road tests to verify quality.

Maintain thorough documentation and use service information systems to ensure accuracy and safety standards. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a dealership or private shop, ASE and manufacturer certifications, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a dealership or private shop.
• ASE and manufacturer certifications are required.
• 1+ years of experience using scan tools and service information systems.
• Independently perform brake, suspension, and steering repairs.
• Proficient in engine maintenance and basic electrical diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy per Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction and complete all work accordingly.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Document work performed on repair orders, test procedures, results, and time.
