Job summary

Lithia Chevrolet GMC of Helena is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose and repair automotive systems and perform routine maintenance. The role requires strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn in a busy shop environment.

Pay is $25.00-$35.00 per hour (DOE) with a comprehensive benefits package and supportive team culture. Hours are Mon-Fri 7:30-5:30 and Sat 8-2, with opportunities for growth and training within Lithia & Driveway.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of automotive experience.
• ASE certification is not required.
• Strong willingness to learn and grow.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.
• Perform high-quality vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to ensure quick and accurate problem identification.
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers about maintenance and repair needs and procedures.
• Stay up to date with automotive technology and techniques through continuous learning and training.
