Job summary

Lithia Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat of Helena is hiring a part-time lube technician. You’ll perform oil changes, filter changes, and basic vehicle maintenance in a busy, customer-focused service department. Flexible scheduling, friendly team, competitive pay from $17.00 to $19.00 per flat rate, and opportunities for growth are offered.

Must have a valid driver's license and a basic mechanical understanding. Experience as a quick lube tech is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• 1+ years of experience as an express/quick lube technician.
• Operate several cars, light trucks, and vans, with the ability to guide both manual and automatic transmissions.
• A team player who is focused on providing customer service.
• Veterans encouraged to apply.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license in your state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor maintenance, e.g., changing engine oil and filters.
• Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels.
• Communicate appropriate customer vehicle repair recommendations to the service advisor liaison.
