L0157 Lithia Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat of Helena is hiring an experienced automotive technician in Helena, MT. The role offers a pay range of $31.00 to $51.00 per hour (flat rate) based on experience and certifications, with schedules requiring open availability for any day/shift.

Department hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. You will diagnose and repair vehicle systems, perform maintenance and inspections, and use diagnostic equipment to identify issues.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as an automotive technician.
• Have a passion for learning and advancing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• ASE certifications are not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems, including: engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.
• Perform high-quality vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Use diagnostic equipment to ensure quick and accurate problem identification.
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers about maintenance and repair needs and procedures.
• Stay up to date with automotive technology and techniques through continuous learning and training.
