Lithia & Driveway's L0256 Access Ford of Corpus Christi dealership is hiring a Ford Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles, perform road tests, and ensure repairs meet Ford and Lithia standards. You will maintain tools, document work, and pursue ongoing certification while delivering high-quality service.

The role requires a Ford Master Technician with 5+ years of experience, a valid license, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Ford Master Technician with 5+ years of experience.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record in your state.
• Commitment to safety and manufacturer standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair work as outlined on repair orders per Lithia and Ford standards.
• Diagnose root causes of malfunctions and implement fixes.
• Complete work according to safety requirements and document results.
• Road-test vehicles to verify repair quality.
• Record time spent on repairs using company clocking procedures.
• Document work performed and test procedures/results on repair orders.
• Maintain essential tools and inventory of standard mechanic tools.
• Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications.
• Participate in and utilize technical training as assigned.
• Review technical bulletins and publications as directed.
• Communicate with dealership personnel to satisfy customer needs.
• Report safety concerns to management.

What You'll Do

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Accurately record time spent on repairs utilizing company time clocking procedures.
• Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results.
• Responsible for providing and maintaining an inventory of normal mechanics tools to include screwdrivers, wrenches, socket wrenches, pliers, hammers, chisels and punches, and other tools needed to perform the work for which the technician is trained and not normally inventoried by the service department as "special tools".
• Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications by completing the necessary and required training.
• Participate in and utilize technical training as assigned by management.
• Review the technical bulletins and other publications as assigned by management.
• Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel as required to satisfy customer needs.
• Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its personnel, or customers.
