Service Technician
Position Summary:
Morrison Millwork Service Technicians are responsible for completing work associated with service requests and handling customer service interactions. Service Technicians ensure excellent customer service and create long-lasting customers through quality workmanship and a help-first attitude.
Service Technicians must maintain a solid working knowledge of all industry standards and practices and the company's products and services to support the organization and customers well.
Essential Roles:
- Building relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and sales representatives through courteous service and a help-first attitude.
- Providing Service Solutions: Diagnose issues quickly and correctly with a readiness to offer repair solutions; seek ways to improve service methods to build customer confidence.
- Continuing Education: Work to be proficient in executing proven service methods for Morrison Millwork’s product portfolio; participate in ongoing professional and industry development; maintain working knowledge of industry and company standards, regulations, and processes.
Accountabilities:
- Evaluate customer needs using a help-first mentality and offer innovative solutions to needs.
- Provide the Service Manager or Coordinator with appropriate information to complete timely parts orders.
- Enter all service work activity in software daily and assist the Service Manager or Coordinator with administrative tasks to maintain inventory and other service records.
- Complete repairs accurately and within product and company guidelines.
- Follow up on customer needs and coordinate fast solutions with the Service Manager or Coordinator.
- Educate customers on how to use and maintain their window and door products.

Other Position Requirements:
- High School degree required.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with minimal violations.
- Must pass a background check and drug test.
- Strong window and door industry knowledge required.
- Ability to install, repair, service, test, and troubleshoot equipment.
- Must be able to read blueprints and diagrams.
- Working knowledge of the equipment needed for the job.
Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job, which include bending, lifting heavy equipment, and other physical tasks.
