Zusammenfassung

PBBS Equipment Corp. is seeking a Service Technician to provide on-site service for boiler rooms in a team-oriented environment. You will perform annual maintenance, piping, wiring, and upgrades, reporting to the Area Manager. On-the-job training is provided to build your skills.

The role requires independent work when needed, strong communication with customers, and the ability to read mechanical, wiring, and electrical prints. Occasional out-of-town travel and on-call shifts may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Mechanical and/or electrical background required.
• Ability to read and work from mechanical, wiring, and electrical prints/schematics.
• Proficiency with smartphones/tablets for field use.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Description

This position is responsible for providing service to customers, as it relates to their Boiler Rooms. This candidate will have strong work ethic and an ability to work both individually and in collaboration with others. The Service Technician will report to the Area Manager. PBBS can and will provide on the job training.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Provide service to customers as directed by Area Manager
• Annual Maintenance on Boilers, Feed/DA Tanks, and Ancillary Equipment
• Piping
• Wiring
• Refractory
• Service/Install Pumps
• Control & Burner Upgrades
• General Repair & Maintenance

Available to work occasionally out of town, overtime, and on-call shifts.

Requirements

• Mechanical and/or Electrical background
• Ability to read, understand and work from mechanical, wiring, and electrical prints/schematics
• Proficiencies using smart phone/tablet
• Able to work independently, as well as in a team atmosphere
• Strong communication and customer service skills (written and oral)
