Job summary

PBBS Equipment Corporation is seeking a Service Technician to provide on-site service for boilers and related equipment. The role involves maintenance, piping, wiring, and system upgrades, with occasional out-of-town work and on-call shifts.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical and/or electrical background, can read prints and schematics, and communicates effectively with customers while working both independently and in teams.

Qualifications

• A Mechanical and/or Electrical background.
• Ability to read, understand and work from mechanical, wiring, and electrical prints/schematics.
• Proficiencies using smartphone/tablet.
• Able to work independently, as well as in a team atmosphere.
• Strong communication and customer service skills (written and oral).

This position is responsible for providing service to customers, as it relates to their Boiler Rooms.

This candidate will have strong work ethic and an ability to work both individually and in collaboration with others. The Service Technician will report to the Area Manager. PBBS can and will provide on the job training.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Provide service to customers as directed by Area Manager
• Annual Maintenance on Boilers, Feed/DA Tanks, and Ancillary Equipment

• Refractory
• Service/Install Pumps
• Control & Burner Upgrades
• General Repair & Maintenance

Available to work occasionally out of town, overtime, and on-call shifts.
