Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Service Technician. This is a full-time position at client locations across designated areas.

The technician will install equipment, educate clients, perform repairs, test function, and conduct preventative maintenance while building strong client relationships for ongoing service excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Experience repairing automated vending and merchandising equipment preferred.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude for diagnosing and repairing equipment.
• Able to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record; CDL not required.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment when needed.

Responsibilities

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Previous experience in the repair of automated vending and merchandising equipment or small appliances preferred
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
• Technical ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and make appropriate repairs
• Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with team members and customers
• Valid Driver's License (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment when needed
