Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic and optimistic Service Technician (Call In) in Miami, FL. This role supports multiple client locations by installing and servicing vending and merchandising equipment while building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Previous experience in repair of vending/merchandising equipment or small appliances preferred.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Technical ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and make repairs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with team members and customers.

Responsibilities

• Install new equipment at client locations within a designated area.
• Educate the client on how to use new equipment.
• Execute minor vending equipment repairs.
• Remove outdated and unused equipment.
• Test vending equipment to ensure proper function.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on vending/merchandising equipment.
• Build and maintain client and customer relationships.
• Order parts needed to complete repairs.

• Install new equipment at client locations within a designated area

• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
• Technical ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and make appropriate repairs
• Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with team members and customers
• Valid Driver's License (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment when needed
