Job summary

AVI Foodsystems in Mansfield, OH is seeking an energetic Service Technician to join our team on a full-time, Monday through Friday schedule.

You will install and educate clients on new vending equipment, perform minor repairs, conduct preventative maintenance, and build strong client relationships while ensuring equipment operates reliably at customer sites. A valid driver's license is required and DOT physical may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Experience repairing automated vending or small appliances preferred.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Technical ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with team members and customers.
• Valid driver's license; CDL is NOT required.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Previous experience in the repair of automated vending and merchandising equipment or small appliances preferred


• Ability to pass the DOT Physical


• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude


• Technical ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and make appropriate repairs


• Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with team members and customers


• Valid Driver's License (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record


• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment when needed
