Job summary

Lithia Motors in Fairbanks, AK is seeking a Master Service Technician to diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns to factory standards, perform drivability and warranty repairs, and mentor junior technicians.

You will document all work, stay current with service technology, and maintain a positive, team-oriented shop culture. A strong ASE certification and 5+ years of hands-on auto repair experience are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Automotive Technician.
• ASE certifications—we'll support you in earning more.
• Commitment to high-quality repairs.
• A team player.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical concerns to Hyundai factory standards.
• Perform advanced drivability, electrical, and warranty repairs.
• Lead junior technicians when needed.
• Complete routine maintenance services and multi-point inspections.
• Document all work performed in compliance with factory and warranty requirements.
• Communicate with service advisors regarding diagnostics, timelines, and repair recommendations.
• Stay current with service technology, service bulletins, and required factory training.
