Karl Malone Ford in Draper, UT is seeking a full-time Experienced Service Technician to join our Ford Certified shop. You will help customers through timely repair and delivery of vehicles, with paid training and opportunities for advancement in a growing company.

Qualifications

• Capable of automotive repair and maintenance across engine, electrical, brakes, HVAC systems.
• Strong teamwork and clear communication with service staff.

Responsibilities

• Repair vehicular systems per repair order with accuracy and efficiency.
• Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and test drives.
• Communicate status and needs with Service Advisor; estimate additional repair time.
• Maintain records of maintenance and repairs; complete tasks timely.
• Perform warranty repairs per manufacturer specs; keep work area clean and safe.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per repair order with efficiency and accuracy. This may include but is not limited to the repair of vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Test a vehicle's components, and systems using necessary test drives, diagnostic tools, and special service equipment.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor regarding the vehicle's status and any additional needs. If additional repairs are needed, provide an estimate of the time needed for those repairs.
• Complete all tasks assigned in a timely manner and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed or needed.
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area following prescribed safety regulations.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license free from major infractions
