Job summary

Karl Malone Ford is seeking a full-time Experienced Service Technician to work in a Ford Certified shop. You will help support customers through timely repair and delivery of their vehicle, with paid training and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities include performing repairs per repair orders, testing components, communicating status to the Service Advisor, and maintaining accurate service records in a safe, organized environment. Equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per repair order with efficiency and accuracy, including electrical, mechanical, and basic diagnostics.
• Test vehicle components and systems using diagnostic tools and test drives.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor regarding status and estimates for additional repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work and timelines.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Keep a clean, organized work area following safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per repair order with efficiency and accuracy. This may include but is not limited to the repair of vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Test a vehicle’s components, and systems using necessary test drives, diagnostic tools, and special service equipment.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor regarding the vehicle’s status and any additional needs. If additional repairs are needed, provide an estimate of the time needed for those repairs.
• Complete all tasks assigned in a timely manner and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed or needed.
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area following prescribed safety regulations.
