Job summary

Karl Malone Chevrolet Park City is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our Chevy-certified shop. You will help customers with timely repairs and vehicle delivery while working in a team-focused, family-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs per repair order, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Test vehicle components and systems using diagnostic tools and test drives.
• Communicate status with Service Advisor and estimate additional repairs when needed.
• Complete tasks timely and keep accurate maintenance/repair records.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per repair order with efficiency and accuracy. This may include but is not limited to the repair of vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Test a vehicle’s components, and systems using necessary test drives, diagnostic tools, and special service equipment.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor regarding the vehicle’s status and any additional needs. If additional repairs are needed, provide an estimate of the time needed for those repairs.
• Complete all tasks assigned in a timely manner and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed or needed.
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area following prescribed safety regulations.
