Job summary

Lithia Motors is seeking a Ford Technician to perform repair work per manufacturer standards, diagnose issues, and road-test vehicles to ensure quality. The role requires a certified Ford Master Technician with extensive automotive knowledge and 5+ years of service experience.

You will document repairs, manage tools, and participate in ongoing training to maintain ASE and factory certifications. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Ford Master Technician certification and ASE certifications preferred.
• Service technician experience with 5+ years in automotive repair.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy per Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and identify appropriate corrective actions.
• Road-test vehicles to verify repairs and ensure quality.
• Accurately record time and document work performed on repair orders and test results.
• Maintain and organize shop tools and inventory for daily operations.
• Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications through required training.
• Review technical bulletins and other publications as assigned.
• Communicate with dealership personnel to meet customer needs.
• Report safety or integrity concerns to management.
