Crater Lake Ford in Medford, OR is seeking a Service Technician with 3+ years of dealership experience. Starting pay at $30.00 per flat rate hour, commensurate with experience.

You will diagnose, road-test, document repairs, maintain tools, and pursue ASE certifications while delivering quality service. This role offers a weekday schedule, opportunities for growth, and access to manufacturer training.

Formación

• 3+ years dealership automotive technician experience required.
• Strong diagnostic skills.
• Operate a wide variety of cars, trucks and vans with manual and automatic transmissions.
• Willing to grow with the dealership and Ford brand.
• Attention to detail and safety protocols.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Perform repair work outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete work according to safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to verify quality of repairs.
• Record time spent on repairs using the time clock.
• Document work performed and test results on the repair order.
• Maintain inventory of standard mechanic tools.
• Ensure vehicles are clean and ready for customers.
• Complete required training and pursue ASE certifications.

What You'll Do

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Accurately record time spent on repairs utilizing company time clocking procedures.
• Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results.
• Responsible for providing and maintaining an inventory of normal mechanics tools to include screwdrivers, wrenches, socket wrenches, pliers, hammers, chisels and punches, and other tools needed to perform the work for which the technician is trained and not normally inventoried by the service department as "special tools".
• Ensure that customer's vehicles are returned to them as clean as they were prior to being serviced.
• Complete all required training.
• Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications by completing the necessary and required training.
• Participate in and utilize technical training as assigned by management.
• Review the technical bulletins and other publications as assigned by management.
