Job summary

Superior Plus Propane seeks an experienced Service Technician to join our Conyers, GA service center. You’ll perform propane service, tank installation, and on-site maintenance for customers, respond to emergencies, and participate in after-hours on-call rotations.

You may cross-train for bobtail propane deliveries while upholding safety and high service standards. Required: 2–3 years propane/oil service, HS diploma or GED; CDL with Hazmat/Tanker preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years propane/oil service experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CDL with Hazmat/Tanker endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform propane service and tank installation at customer sites.
• Identify and fix leaks from tank to equipment connection.
• Respond to customer emergencies as needed and participate in on-call rotations.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Service Technician to join the team at the Conyers, GA customer service center. Superior Plus Propane is a premier propane company with exceptional employees who look out for one another's safety. What you’ll do:

• Propane service and tank installation.
• Able to identify and correct any leaks from the tank to equipment connection.
• Respond to customer emergencies as needed
• Rotate “on call” status during evenings and weekends as needed
• Perform tank maintenance spare tanks located in the plants in preparation for putting them in service.
• Complete tank inspections and repairs at customer locations.
• Will be cross trained to assist with bobtail truck propane deliveries as needed
• Consistently communicate proactively with the Service Manager, CSC Manager, Dispatcher, Sales reps, drivers, and customers as necessary

What you bring:

• 2-3 years propane/oil service preferred; HVAC
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
• CDL with Hazmat/ Tanker endorsement preferred
