Superior Plus Propane is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join the Watertown customer service center. The role involves propane service, tank installation, leak repair, and responding to customer emergencies while rotating on-call duties in the evenings and weekends.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of propane/oil service experience (HVAC a plus), a High School Diploma or GED, and CDL Class A or B with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements preferred.

• CDL Class A or B is required.
• Hazmat/Tanker endorsement preferred; Propane Delivery License preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform propane service and tank installation.
• Identify and correct leaks from tank to equipment connection.
• Respond to customer emergencies and participate in on‑call rotations.
• Carry out tank maintenance and inspections at customer locations.
• Assist with bobtail truck propane deliveries as needed.
• Communicate proactively with Service Manager, CSC Manager, Dispatcher, Sales reps, drivers, and customers.

We are looking for an experienced Service Technician to join the team at the Watertown customer service center. What You’ll Do:

• Propane service and tank installation.
• Able to identify and correct any leaks from the tank to equipment connection.
• Respond to customer emergencies as needed
• Rotate “on call” status during evenings and weekends as needed
• Perform tank maintenance spare tanks located in the plants in preparation for putting them in service.
• Complete tank inspections and repairs at customer locations.
• Will be cross‑trained to assist with bobtail truck propane deliveries as needed
• Consistently communicate proactively with the Service Manager, CSC Manager, Dispatcher, Sales reps, drivers, and customers as necessary

What you bring:

• 2-3 years propane/oil service preferred; HVAC
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
• CDL Class A or B
• Hazmat/ Tanker endorsement preferred
• Propane Delivery License preferred
• Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening.

Pay Transparency:

The hourly rate ranges from $21.00 - $26.00, with flexibility for highly qualified candidates based on industry experience, CDL/Hazmat endorsements, and technical expertise.

Please note the compensation information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, geographical location, as well as market and business considerations.

This role will be eligible for overtime pay once scheduled work week hours are met.

When applicable, this role is eligible for an on‑call incentive stipend.
