Job summary

Culligan By WaterCo is hiring for a field service role based in Troy, NY. You will operate company vehicles, perform diagnostics and installations on water treatment equipment, and interact with customers to explain equipment status and solutions.

The position requires 1+ year plumbing experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills. Travel to nearby Culligan branches may be needed; DOT physicals and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of a Company vehicle in accordance with state and federal DOT laws.
• Adherence to established safety procedures.
• Completion of daily service orders promptly.
• Perform diagnostics, installations or removals on residential and commercial water treatment equipment; identify malfunctions and resolve accordingly.
• Foster customer relationships through direct interaction, effectively communicating equipment status and providing problem-solving solutions.
• Ensure timely collection of payments upon service completion and assist in past due receivables collection.

Salary Details

• $25-30.00/hour depending on experience

Schedule

Monday-Friday 7am-4pm and on call rotation every 6 weeks

Key Duties And Responsibilities

Work Location

• Based at our Troy, NY office, with occasional travel to nearby Culligan branches as required.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year or more plumbing experience
• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Familiarity with the city area where duties will be performed
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal/written)
• Please note, candidates offered a position must undergo a DOT physical (at the time of hire and every two years thereafter), a drug screen, and a background check in line with state and Federal laws.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift over 100 pounds with assistance of dolly or lift
• Ability to drive for extended periods (2-3 hours)
• Ability to kneel/bend for extended periods.
