Culligan by WaterCo is seeking a field service/water treatment technician based at our Richmond, IN office. You will perform diagnostics, installations, and routine service on water treatment equipment, while maintaining strong customer relationships and adhering to safety guidelines.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, plumbing experience, and a willingness to undergo DOT physicals and background checks. Occasional travel to nearby Culligan branches may be required.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Operate company vehicle safely in compliance with DOT laws.
• Follow safety procedures and complete daily service orders promptly.
• Perform diagnostics, installations or removals on residential and commercial water treatment equipment; diagnose and fix malfunctions.
• Carry out route deliveries and collect payments upon service completion.
• Build customer relationships through direct interaction and clear status updates.

Salary Details

• Up to $20.00-22.00/hour

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Safe operation of a Company vehicle in accordance with state and federal DOT laws.
• Adherence to established safety procedures.
• Completion of daily service orders promptly.
• Perform diagnostics, installations or removals on residential and commercial water treatment equipment; identify malfunctions and resolve accordingly.
• Performs Route deliveries
• Foster customer relationships through direct interaction, effectively communicating equipment status and providing problem-solving solutions.
• Ensure timely collection of payments upon service completion and assist in past due receivables collection.

Work Location

• Based at our Richmond, IN office, with occasional travel to nearby Culligan branches as required.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year or more plumbing experience
• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Familiarity with the city area where duties will be performed
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal/written)
• Please note, candidates offered a position must undergo a DOT physical (at the time of hire and every two years thereafter), a drug screen, and a background check in line with state and Federal laws.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift over 100 pounds with assistance of dolly or lift
• Ability to drive for extended periods (2-3 hours)
• Ability to kneel/bend for extended periods.
