Job summary

First Choice Coffee Services in Wisconsin is seeking a Service Technician to join our team. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled service on our coffee equipment, including installations, and you will train customers on proper use at their sites.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to travel as needed. We offer a starting hourly rate of $21, monthly bonus opportunities, and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled service activities on coffee brewing equipment at customer locations, including installations and removals.
• Instruct customers on proper use of coffee equipment and respond to inquiries.
• Complete service calls and related paperwork accurately and timely.
• Maintain proper parts inventory for the service vehicle and monthly inventory checks.
• Refurbish and repair coffee equipment for customer sites as needed.
• Prepare records such as service orders and inventory reports per company procedures.
• Ensure the service vehicle is maintained and that driving is performed safely.
• Assist with deliveries when required and maintain the service area.

What You'll Be Doing – The Role

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled service activities on our coffee brewing equipment, including emergency service calls, preventive maintenance, installations, and equipment removals at customer locations.
• Instruct customers on the proper use of coffee equipment, respond to inquiries from customers about coffee equipment, and communicate customer inquiries to appropriate First Choice staff.
• Complete all service calls and related paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
• Maintain proper parts inventory for assigned service vehicle and inventory parts on a monthly basis.
• Refurbish and repair coffee equipment for use at customer sites.
• Prepare records such as service orders, product disbursement sheets, monthly inventory, and parts inventory in accordance with First Choice policies and procedures.
• Ensure that assigned service vehicle undergoes routine maintenance as needed, obey all traffic laws, and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Assume route driver duties during vacation, extended leave, or other absence of regular branch delivery drivers; perform other deliveries as needed.
• Maintain and clean the service area.
• Receive, organize, and maintain parts for equipment.
