Job summary

First Choice Coffee Services is seeking a Service Technician to join our team. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled service on our coffee brewing equipment, install and remove units at customer locations, and ensure timely service calls.

The role offers an hourly wage of $20.00–$24.00, monthly bonuses, and comprehensive benefits including 401(k) matching, medical/dental/vision, and paid time off. A high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Past Experience is a plus.
• Valid Drivers License.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled service activities on coffee brewing equipment, including emergency service calls, preventive maintenance, installations, and equipment removals at customer locations.
• Instruct customers on the proper use of coffee equipment and respond to inquiries from customers about coffee equipment.
• Complete all service calls and related paperwork accurately and timely.
• Maintain proper parts inventory for the service vehicle and inventory parts monthly.
• Refurbish and repair coffee equipment for customer sites.
• Prepare records such as service orders and inventory reports according to company procedures.
• Ensure the service vehicle is maintained and drive safely with a valid license.
• Assist with route duties during vacations or absences of regular drivers; perform other deliveries as needed.
• Maintain and clean the service area.
• Receive, organize, and maintain parts for equipment.

What You'll Be Doing – The Role

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled service activities on our coffee brewing equipment, including emergency service calls, preventive maintenance, installations, and equipment removals at customer locations.
• Instruct customers on the proper use of coffee equipment, respond to inquiries from customers about coffee equipment, and communicate customer inquiries to appropriate First Choice staff.
• Complete all service calls and related paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
• Maintain proper parts inventory for assigned service vehicle and inventory parts on a monthly basis.
• Refurbish and repair coffee equipment for use at customer sites.
• Prepare records such as service orders, product disbursement sheets, monthly inventory, and parts inventory in accordance with First Choice policies and procedures.
• Ensure that assigned service vehicle undergoes routine maintenance as needed, obey all traffic laws, and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Assume route driver duties during vacation, extended leave, or other absence of regular branch delivery drivers; perform other deliveries as needed.
• Maintain and clean the service area.
• Receive, organize, and maintain parts for equipment.
