Job summary

First Choice Coffee Services is seeking a Service Technician to join our growing field team in the United States. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in delivering excellent customer service, we’d love to hear from you.

You will service and install coffee brewing equipment at customer sites, train customers on operation, complete service paperwork, and help maintain inventory and vehicle readiness. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Past Experience is a plus.
• Valid Drivers License

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled service activities on coffee brewing equipment, including emergency service calls, preventive maintenance, installations, and equipment removals at customer locations.
• Instruct customers on the proper use of coffee equipment, respond to inquiries from customers about coffee equipment, and communicate customer inquiries to appropriate First Choice staff.
• Complete all service calls and related paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
• Maintain proper parts inventory for assigned service vehicle and inventory parts on a monthly basis.
• Refurbish and repair coffee equipment for use at customer sites.
• Prepare records such as service orders, product disbursement sheets, monthly inventory, and parts inventory in accordance with First Choice policies and procedures.
• Ensure that assigned service vehicle undergoes routine maintenance as needed, obey all traffic laws, and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Assume route driver duties during vacation, extended leave, or other absence of regular branch delivery drivers; perform other deliveries as needed.
• Maintain and clean the service area.
• Receive, organize, and maintain parts for equipment.
