Job summary

First Choice Coffee Services is seeking a Service Technician to service and install coffee equipment at customer locations, perform preventive maintenance, and refurbish units as needed.

You will train customers on proper use, complete paperwork, manage parts inventory, and help with deliveries when needed. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required; prior service experience is a plus.

• Past experience in service is a plus.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Service, install, and perform preventive maintenance on coffee equipment at customer sites.
• Instruct customers on proper use and handle inquiries promptly.
• Complete service calls and paperwork accurately and on time.
• Maintain parts inventory and assist with occasional deliveries as needed.
• Keep the service area clean and ensure vehicle is well-maintained.

What you'll be doing – The Role:

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled service activities on our coffee brewing equipment, including emergency service calls, preventive maintenance, installations, and equipment removals at customer locations.
• Instruct customers on the proper use of coffee equipment, respond to inquiries from customers about coffee equipment, and communicate customer inquiries to appropriate First Choice staff.
• Complete all service calls and related paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
• Maintain proper parts inventory for assigned service vehicle and inventory parts on a monthly basis.
• Refurbish and repair coffee equipment for use at customer sites.
• Prepare records such as service orders, product disbursement sheets, monthly inventory, and parts inventory in accordance with First Choice policies and procedures.
• Ensure that assigned service vehicle undergoes routine maintenance as needed, obey all traffic laws, and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Assume route driver duties during vacation, extended leave, or other absence of regular branch delivery drivers; perform other deliveries as needed.
• Maintain and clean the service area.
• Receive, organize, and maintain parts for equipment.
