Job summary

Rueter & Zenor Co. is seeking a Service Technician to maintain and repair agricultural and construction equipment in both the shop and the field, based in Carroll, IA. The role includes diagnosing and performing repairs, documenting parts and services, and meeting efficiency goals.

We value a positive, team-oriented attitude with a customer-first mindset and a valid driver's license. Experience as a diesel mechanic or similar role is encouraged, with opportunities for growth within a growing

• Strong knowledge of diesel, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and repair techniques.

What You’ll Do

As a Service Technician, you’ll perform maintenance and repairs on ag and construction equipment in both the shop and the field.

Responsibilities include:

• Diagnosing and performing basic to complex repairs
• Documenting parts and services performed accurately
• Meeting service efficiency and productivity goals
• Participating in ongoing training and development
• Following all safety protocols
• Promoting fair, customer-friendly billing practices

What We’re Looking For

The Details

• Location: Carroll, IA
• Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (occasional evenings/weekends)
• Travel: Local day travel expected
• Work Environment: Split between shop and field settings, occasional exposure to outdoor elements and uneven surfaces. Ability to lift 25+ lbs regularly required.
