Job summary

Rueter’s is seeking a skilled Service Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on agricultural and construction equipment in both the shop and the field. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of diesel and mechanical systems and experience with diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of diesel, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and repair techniques.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Prior experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.

What You’ll Do

As a Service Technician, you’ll perform maintenance and repairs on ag and construction equipment in both the shop and the field.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong knowledge of diesel, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Experience with diagnostic tools and repair techniques
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a customer-first mindset
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Prior experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Mechanical Technician, or similar role
• Automotive and transportation techs encouraged to apply!

The Details

• Location: Carroll, IA
• Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (occasional evenings/weekends)
• Travel: Local day travel expected
• Work Environment: Split between shop and field settings, occasional exposure to outdoor elements and uneven surfaces. Ability to lift 25+ lbs regularly required.
