Job summary

A trusted agricultural equipment company in Ankeny, IA is looking for a Service Technician. You will perform maintenance and repairs on ag and construction equipment, both in the shop and in the field. Ideal candidates will have a strong mechanical background and experience with diagnostic tools. Competitive salary and benefits, including health insurance and a 401(k) plan with company match.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Mechanical Technician, or similar role.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

What You’ll Do

As a Service Technician, you’ll perform maintenance and repairs on ag and construction equipment in both the shop and the field.

• Diagnosing and performing basic to complex repairs
• Documenting parts and services performed accurately
• Meeting service efficiency and productivity goals
• Participating in ongoing training and development
• Following all safety protocols
• Promoting fair, customer-friendly billing practices

What We’re Looking For

• Strong knowledge of diesel, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Experience with diagnostic tools and repair techniques
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a customer-first mindset
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Prior experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Mechanical Technician, or similar role

The Details

• Location: Ankeny, IA
• Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (occasional evenings/weekends)
• Travel: Local day travel expected
• Work Environment: Split between shop and field settings, occasional exposure to outdoor elements and uneven surfaces. Ability to lift 25+ lbs regularly required.
