Job summary

Professional Pump in Canton, Michigan seeks a Service Technician to perform precision overhauls and field service on pumps and related equipment. You will install fluid processing equipment at industrial sites and service wastewater systems at customer locations, while troubleshooting issues and recommending repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision overhauls of pumps, valves, agitators, and rotating equipment in house and at customer site.
• Install fluid process equipment at industrial customer sites.
• Install and service wastewater equipment at customer sites.
• Install mechanical seals, couplings, V-belts, bearing seals, relief valves and accessories.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and prepare repair or replacement recommendations.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding service work, repair parts and pump operation.
• Maintain and perform preventative maintenance on service equipment and tools.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Professional Pump is a family-oriented Midwest based company based in Canton, Michigan. As a result of our growth, we have a need for a Service Technician.

What You'll Do

• Perform precision overhauls of pumps, valves, agitators, and other rotating equipment in house and at customer site.

• Install and perform service on wastewater equipment at customer sites.
• Install mechanical seals, couplings, V-belts, bearing seals, relief valves and other accessories.
• Troubleshoot fluid process equipment problems and prepare recommendations for repair or replacement.
