Professional Pump, a family-oriented Midwest-based company in Canton, Michigan, is seeking a Service Technician to support precision repair, maintenance, and installation of fluid process equipment. You will work both in-house and at customer sites, performing overhauls and installations while upholding core values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; willingness to learn and adapt.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced service environment.
• Must have a valid driver's license and physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes core values of the company.
• Perform precision overhauls of pumps, valves, and rotating equipment in-house and at customer sites.
• Install fluid process equipment at industrial sites.
• Install and service wastewater equipment at customer sites.
• Install mechanical seals, couplings, V-belts, bearing seals and relief valves.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and provide repair or replacement recommendations.
• Respond to customer inquiries about service work and pump operation.
• Maintain preventative maintenance on service equipment and tools.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
