Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes core values of the company.
• Perform precision overhauls of pumps, valves, and rotating equipment in-house and at customer sites.
• Install fluid process equipment at industrial sites.
• Install and service wastewater equipment at customer sites.
• Install mechanical seals, couplings, V-belts, bearing seals and relief valves.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and provide repair or replacement recommendations.
• Respond to customer inquiries about service work and pump operation.
• Maintain preventative maintenance on service equipment and tools.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Service Technician

Professional Pump is a family-oriented Midwest based company based in Canton, Michigan. As a result of our growth, we have a need for a Service Technician.

What You'll Do

• Demonstrates and promotes Professional Pump's core values (Act with Integrity and Respect, Foster Teamwork, Focus on the Customer, Strive for Excellence and Innovation, Project Passion and Energy and Have Fun).
• Perform precision overhauls of pumps, valves, agitators, and other rotating equipment in house and at customer site.
• Install fluid process equipment at industrial customer sites.
• Install and perform service on wastewater equipment at customer sites.
• Install mechanical seals, couplings, V-belts, bearing seals, relief valves and other accessories.
• Troubleshoot fluid process equipment problems and prepare recommendations for repair or replacement.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding service work, repair parts and pump operation.
• Maintain and perform preventative maintenance on service equipment and tools.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
