Job summary

Superior Plus Propane in Bridgewater, MA is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our team. You will perform propane service and tank installations, ensuring safety and quality while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Respond to customer emergencies as needed and be prepared to rotate on‑call status during evenings and weekends. Cross‑training for bobtail deliveries helps support operations and service coverage.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years propane/oil service preferred; HVAC.
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
• CDL class A or B with Hazmat/ Tanker endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Propane service and tank installation.
• Identify and correct any leaks from the tank to equipment connection.
• Respond to customer emergencies as needed.
• Rotate on call status during evenings and weekends as needed.
• Perform tank maintenance spare tanks located in the plants in preparation for putting them in service.
• Complete tank inspections and repairs at customer locations.
• Cross‑trained to assist with bobtail truck propane deliveries as needed.
• Communicate proactively with the Service Manager, CSC Manager, Dispatcher, Sales reps, drivers, and customers.

Primary duties include:

• Propane service and tank installation.

• Consistently communicate proactively with the Service Manager, CSC Manager, Dispatcher, Sales reps, drivers, and customers as necessary

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2-3 years propane/oil service preferred; HVAC
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
• CDL class A or B with Hazmat/ Tanker endorsement preferred

The hourly rate for this position is $28.00 - $35.00 per hour.

This role will be eligible for overtime pay once scheduled work week hours are met.

When applicable, this role is eligible for an on-call incentive stipend.

This position is also eligible for a quarterly/annual incentive program.
