We are seeking a detail-oriented Service Technician to join our local service center in Burlington, MA for this on-site position. In this hands-on role, you will perform calibrations and repairs on Vaisala products and systems, supporting accurate and timely service for our customers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their technical career looking to develop deep product knowledge in a structured environment.



Industrial Measurements business area serves a wide range of industries and applications ranging from pharmaceutical to food industries, and from warehouses to power transformers. It offers a broad range of accurate and reliable measurement instruments based on the cutting-edge technology to help our customers optimize their processes, improve efficiency, minimize energy consumption, and ensure the high quality of their end-products.





What's Your Role?




  • Perform detailed calibrations and repairs on Vaisala products.

  • Perform all calibration and repairs following the steps outlined in the Calibration & Repair Services Process.

  • Complete Data Sheets and Calibration Reports

  • Complete Repair Reports

  • Accurately opening, assigning, and completing Repair Orders (RO's)

  • Read and follow detailed calibration/repair procedures

  • Accurately signing out inventory material

  • Provide clear and concise updates to customers regarding calibration and/or repair status or quotations.

  • Maintain clean and professional work stations at all times



What Will You Bring?




  • High school diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years of experience. Or, equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Associate's or Technical degree in related field preferred

  • Excellent spoken and written English as either primary or secondary language

  • Basic calibration knowledge

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Basic MS Office knowledge

  • Desired but not required experience:

    • Electronics

    • Mechanics

    • Telecommunications

    • Computer networking

    • Environmental or climatological disciplines

    • Dedicated customer service delivery
