Job summary

Randstad USA in Bucks County, PA is seeking a Service Technician to join our client’s team as an Industrial Mechanic. The position is on-site with local travel to customer sites and offers a first shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, training opportunities, and a solid benefits package.

Expect hands-on work installing and servicing Coding and Packaging machinery, with strong emphasis on safety, customer service, and accurate reporting. Compensation ranges from $56k to $63k per year plus bonuses.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a service technician or industrial mechanic.
• Experience troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining machinery at customer sites.
• Ability to install new product lines and coordinate on-site installation.
• Willingness to travel locally to customer sites within an 8-hour shift.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Coding and Packaging machinery at customer sites.
• Manage all aspects of new product line installations, including on-site installation.
• Train on-site operators and maintenance staff to operate equipment safely.
• Provide remote troubleshooting support via phone.
• Schedule jobs and ensure timely deliveries with customer service.
• Prepare detailed service reports and ensure accuracy of parts used.
• Maintain professional demeanor with customers and promote teamwork.
• Develop and maintain processes aligned with company goals.
• Provide sales leads to Sales Department.
• Read electrical schematics and use a multimeter.
• Capable of lifting heavy weights and working with minimal supervision.
• Interact with clients on-site and over the phone.

Our client located in Bensalem, PA is seeking a Service Technician to join their team. This position offers training opportunities, paid medical benefits, and bonuses. Shift time runs 8AM - 4:30PM Monday - Friday $27-30/hr with overtime and bonuses available. This position will require both on site maintenance and local travel within an 8 hour work shift to customer sites for installation and repair. Must posess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Coding and Packaging machinery in customer sites.
• Ability to manage all aspects of new product line installations which include pre-install preparation at customer sites, coordinating and/or performing physical installation of machinery.
• Train on-site operators & maintenance mechanics to safely operate and maintain installed equipment.
• Offer clients troubleshooting support via telephone.
• Schedule jobs and ensure timely deliveries in conjunction with customer service.
• Provide detailed professional written service reports on jobs and ensure accuracy for parts utilized.
• Always ensure a positive attitude and professional demeanor with customers.
• Strive for a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and mutual goals.
• Develop and maintain adequate processes and procedures in line with company goals.
• Provides sales leads to Sales Department.
• electrical background (AC & DC voltages) with the ability to read wiring schematics and use a multi-meter.
• Should be capable of using basic hand tools and possess a mechanical aptitude.
• Good troubleshooting skills
• Should be capable of handling and/or maneuvering heavy weights by himself.
• Should be capable of working with little or no supervision.
• Ability to always interact with clients in a professional manner, both on-site and over the phone
• Possesses a clean, valid driver’s license.

The essential functions of this role include:
