Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our high-tech facility and keep packaging lines running at peak performance. You will diagnose complex machinery, perform advanced repairs, and optimize electrical and pneumatic systems with minimal training.

The role requires 5 years of experience in maintenance, a High School diploma, and the ability to work a 3 PM–2:30 AM shift with overtime as needed. Randstad offers comprehensive benefits and a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Master the maintenance of high-speed packaging lines, electrical panels, and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues using advanced tools to minimize downtime.
• Maintain and optimize conveyors, drives, motors, bearings, and power distribution.
• Execute preventive maintenance to prevent breakdowns and keep operations running smoothly.
• Work with PLCs, operator interfaces, and CMMS for control and data tracking.
• Document repairs, adjustments, PM logs, parts usage, and improvement projects.
• Adhere to OSHA and safety standards at all times.

Responsibilities

• Master the Machinery: Perform advanced mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic maintenance across high speed packaging lines, electrical panels, and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot & Diagnose: Track down tricky equipment issues by observing, listening, and using advanced diagnostic tools then make precision repairs to eliminate downtime.
• Keep Systems Flowing: Maintain, inspect, and optimize conveyor systems (both mechanical and electrical), drives, motors, bearings, and power distribution systems.
• Master Preventive Maintenance: Execute timely PM routines to stop breakdowns before they start and keep daily operations running like clockwork.
• Control & Automate: Work directly with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), operator interfaces, and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Track Your Impact: Maintain clean documentation for repairs, machine adjustments, PM logs, parts usage, and continuous improvement projects.
• Safety First: Maintain a zero compromise safety mindset by strictly following OSHA guidelines and facility safety standards at all times.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 12 hours at one time
• working up to 12 hrs of overtime per week
