Job summary

Randstad USA seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician for a premier day-shift role in Chattanooga, TN. You will keep state-of-the-art automated machinery running in a clean, lean manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge and application of compressed air, hydraulics, and pneumatics, basic electrical, welding, pumps, and preventative maintenance.
• Must-have: yourown tools
• Must-have: Read and interpret electrical schematics
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and perform preventative maintenance on automated equipment, hydraulic presses, robotics, assembly machines, boilers, and air compressors.
• Utilize electric meters and mechanical tools to diagnose and execute repairs on 480V3-phase electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform welding, soldering, brazing, and minor facility repairs, liaising with outside contractors for major overhauls as needed.
• Transport materials and components safely using hand transports or forklifts.
• Uphold strict 5S standards for organization, safety, and housekeeping across all work areas.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and materials teams to meet operational goals with minimal supervision.
