As a Tool and Equipment Mechanic, your day revolves around troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and gas and diesel engines, ensuring their proper functionality. You prioritize keeping workstations clean and organized, both indoors and outdoors. While performing service calls, you also maintain clean and working service trucks. Effective communication with customers, the Service Supervisor, and the parts department is crucial to ensure customers are updated on the status and location of repairs needed and parts are ordered and received in a timely manner. Tool and Equipment Mechanics prioritize company safety standards while completing assigned tasks efficiently. Additionally, you maintain accurate records, including parts ordered and equipment repair hours.
